Accept ticket

Assign an open ticket to the logged-in user. The ticket automatically receives the status In Progress.

Prerequisite

The logged-in user is assigned to the resolving group of the desired ticket.

Procedure

  1. Call up the Task Tracking > Ticket Management menu.
  2. In the Open column, click on the desired ticket tile.

    The ticket details dialog with the Basic Information tab is displayed.

    Alternatively, drag and drop the ticket to the In progress column.

  3. Click Accept.

The ticket is assigned to the logged-in user. The assigned user is displayed in the Assigned To field on the Details tab of the ticket details dialog.

The ticket is displayed in the In progress column.

A corresponding entry is displayed in the Ticket history tab in the ticket details dialog.
