The Communication.PPMP communications module is used to receive JSON messages in a format defined by the Production Performance Manager Protocol (PPMP). This format enables the recording of the payload data that is necessary for a performance analysis of production plants.
The JSON payload is transported via HTTP by default to allow easy integration into various back-end systems. The PPMP communications module only supports this type of communication.
