Add product family

Prerequisite

Production area has been created.

Procedure

1. Click on a production area in the Product tab.
2. Click in the detailed view in the header.
3. In the Add Product Family dialog window, enter the information:

   

   • Enter the name of the product family in the Product Family text box.

     The name of the product family must be unique within the production area.

   • Enter a description of the product family in the Description text box.
4. Click Save.

The product family is added and appears in the list.
