Introduction to the Nexeed Gateway module

The Nexeed Gateway module enables stations (machines, devices or control systems) to be connected to the Nexeed IAS system. Nexeed Gateway allows these stations to communicate with the Nexeed IAS system using the Nexeed DirectDataLink module. In the current version, Nexeed Gateway does not enable communication via the Nexeed Information Router module. Communication between a station and the Nexeed Gateway module can take place using various Communication types and protocols.

Main Function

• 2-way communication between stations and Nexeed modules via different communication protocols
• Forwarding messages to the Nexeed target module via the Nexeed DirectDataLink module
• Authentication of the configuration service with Nexeed Multitenant Access Control
