The Artifact Repository allows to manage artifacts (software, setup files, …) and provide these to devices.
The Artifact Repository provides the following APIs:

Artifact Management API: allows to manage the artifacts (software, setup files, …)

Access Right Management API: allows to manage the access rights granted to other tenants for specific types of artifacts and/or risk levels (available only for managed Artifact Repository)

Device Access API: allows devices to retrieve artifacts and backup files

Certificate Management API: allows to manage the trust anchor (certificate authorities) for the Device Access API

Device Portal Access API: used by the Device Portal to provide artifact management functionality in the Device Portal UI
