Moving a Group

In the group overview, groups can be moved as a subgroup or separated out as a standalone group.

Assigned users and roles are retained when a group is moved.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Call up the Access management > Groups menu.
  2. In the overview, select the group that you want to move.
  3. Click hierarchy-setting in the header.

    The Move group dialog window will appear.

  4. To move the group as a subgroup, click the radio button below the selected group and select a group.

    Or:

    To move the group as a separate group, select the as a separate group radio button.

  5. Click Move.

The group is moved and will appear in the selected position in the overview.
