Confirming Minor Maintenance or Major Maintenance

When minor or major maintenance is completed on a tool or a component, this must be confirmed in Nexeed Tool Management. Work can only be carried out with the tool or component if the maintenance is confirmed. When minor or major maintenance is confirmed, the corresponding counters of the tool or component are also reset. Minor or major maintenance can also be confirmed for the attached components at the same time.

Prerequisite

• Tool Management User or Tool Management Expert or Tool Management Admin role
• A tool or component has been created.
  Creating a Tool or Component

Procedure

1. Call up the Tool management > Tool information > Tools & components tab.
2. Select a tool or component.
3. Select Maintenance in the detailed view.
4. Select Confirm minor maintenance or Confirm major maintenance from the drop-down list.

   Example: Confirm minor maintenance

   

5. Enter Comment.
6. To also confirm minor maintenance or major maintenance for attached components, activate the checkbox Confirm minor maintenance also for sub-components or Confirm major maintenance also for sub-components.
7. Confirm minor or major maintenance with Confirm.

In the case of minor maintenance, the Minor maintenance and Days since last maintenance counters are reset. In the case of major maintenance, the Minor maintenance, Major maintenance and Days since last maintenance are reset.
