The hourly quantity tracking can be used to show the current production status, facilitating a swift reaction to any manufacturing problems.
It may also be necessary (if configured, see below) to confirm automatically recorded part counts in real time on the hour.
The Shift Book Admin operator must activate the hourly confirmation and the special display of unconfirmed hours in the calendar under Shopfloor Management > Administration > Configuration with the configuration parameter Enable part count confirmation.
The Shift Book Admin operator can activate a validation/check of the loss of performance with options such as Maximum loss efficiency. When validation is activated, the percentage efficiency loss is not allowed to exceed the percentage limit. See below for further limitations.
Prerequisites
Procedure
Click the Hourly quantity tracking tab.
The Hourly quantity tracking tab opens.
The calendar view switches automatically to the day view. The screen is split into two: The right side shows the hourly quantity tracking for the selected shift.
Display for each full hour:

Performance losses |
Depending on configuration:
When validation of efficiency loss is activated: If the performance loss exceeds or falls below a configured limit as a percentage or if the performance loss is negative, it is shown in red. Confirmed hours (only if the configuration parameter Enable part count confirmation is activated by the Shift Book Admin operator under Shopfloor Management > Administration > Configuration) are displayed in bold. |
|
Target |
Indicates the target part counts (equivalent to 100% OEE or the target OEE) both as an hourly figure and an accumulated figure. The target part count is calculated from the current target cycle time (which may depend on the number of workers) and the planned occupancy time during the relevant hour (planned downtimes are deducted). The system operator selects the Target part count based on target OEE under Shopfloor Management > Administration > Configuration using the configuration parameter Part count target value |
|
Actual (internal) |
Indicates the actual part count, both as an hourly figure and an accumulated figure. The actual part count is calculated from the number of IO process cycles at the counting station(s) on the line. |
|
Good parts and |
Provides a graphical display of the actual part count (green bars) and the target part count (red line). The Quality losses and Availability losses (in parts) are superimposed in light red. This indicates whether possible losses from the target part count can be justified sufficiently. Unconfirmed hours are shown in gray (actual part counts) or in light gray (losses). Only if part count confirmation is activated. The Shift Book Admin operator must set the maximum number of parts per hour (graphic scaling) under Shopfloor Management > Administration > Configuration using the configuration parameter Maximum number of parts. |
|
TTNR/target cycle time |
Indicates the type being produced and its target cycle time (in seconds). If more than one type is produced per hour, the type produced for longest during this hour is displayed. The other types are displayed as a comment when the mouse pointer is hovered over the red triangle. |
|
Quality [pcs.] |
Indicates the scrapped parts and rework parts. NOK parts and parts with the Abort and Others status are counted as rework. |
|
Availability losses [min:sec] |
Displays the Availability losses, i.e. losses due to unplanned downtimes separated into changeover-related, technical, organizational and quality losses. The total losses within the hour concerned is displayed for each category. However, planned downtimes are not counted. A downtime lasting multiple hours is split accordingly. |
