Add generic link

1. Under Shopfloor management > Global production overview, click in the top right.
2. Call up the Generic Links tab.
3. To create a new link, click in the header.
4. Complete all fields in the Create link dialog:
   • Element type
     Type of production unit
   • Link description
     Name of the link
     The entry is shown in the Nexeed Global Production Overview module.
   • Link
     URL
     Insert the desired placeholder into the URL by selecting and copying an Available Placeholder. The placeholders shown depend on the selected element type.
5. Accept the entries with Save.

   The link for the production unit has been created. The link can be accessed in the Nexeed Global Production Overview module on the Map tab in the data card, on the Comparison tab, or on the Favorites tab in the options menu  of a production unit.

6. Click on the link to check that it works.
   Access a link from the Map tab
   Access a link from the Comparison tab
   Access a link from the Favorites tab

A window opens in the web browser containing the page associated with the link.
