Add dataset to variant

Prerequisites

• Production area, product family, product and variant(s) have been created. Product tab
• Dataset structure has been created.

Procedure

1. Click in the Production Area & Product Family search box in the Editor tab.
2. In the Production Area drop-down list, select a production area by activating the checkbox and click .
3. In the Product Family drop-down list, select a product family by activating the checkbox.
4. Click on a variant in the list.
5. In the detailed view, click in the header of the Datasets tab.
6. In the Add Dataset dialog window, enter the information:

   

   • Select a dataset in the list by activating the checkbox.
   • Enter a comment in the Version Comment text box.
7. Click Add.

The dataset is added to the variant and appears in the list.
