Display dataset history

Prerequisites

• Production area, product family, product and variant(s) have been created. Product tab
• Dataset structure, structure element and parameters have been created. Configurator tab
• Dataset has been added to the variant.

Procedure

1. Click in the Production Area & Product Family search box in the Editor tab.
2. In the Production Area drop-down list, select a production area by activating the checkbox and click .
3. In the Product Family drop-down list, select a product family by activating the checkbox.
4. Click on a variant in the list.
5. Click in the row of the dataset in the detailed view.
6. Open the History tab.

The dataset history appears.

Functions in the history tab

• To search for a version, enter the user ID or parts of it in the search box.
• To filter by a version, select a creation date by which the versions are to be filtered in the Date field.
• To compare versions, select multiple versions by activating the checkboxes and click Compare.
• To restore a version and consequently reset the dataset, click in the row of the version.

  When a version is restored, a check is automatically carried out to determine differences from the most recent dataset structure. The old dataset is automatically updated to the most recent structure.
