Add structure element

Prerequisites

• Production area has been created.
• Dataset structure has been created.

Procedure

1. Click on a production area in the Configurator tab.
2. Click in the detailed view in the row of a dataset structure.
3. Click in the root row.
4. Enter the information in the Create Structure Element dialog window:

   

   • Enter the name of the structure element in the Name text box.
   • Deactivate the Mandatory switch if the structure element is not required.
   • Activate the 1D array switch if a 1D structure array is to be created.
   • A minimum number of 1D structure arrays can be entered in the Minimum text box (only if the 1D array switch is activated).
   • A maximum number of 1D structure arrays can be entered in the Maximum text box (only if the 1D array switch is activated).
5. Click Create.
6. Click Save in the detailed view.
7. Enter a version comment in the Save Changes dialog window.
8. Click Save.

The structure element is added and appears in the root structure.
