Create or configure a schedule for a machine task template

Prerequisite

User or Administrator role

Procedure

  1. Call up the Maintenance > Schedules menu.
  2. Create a schedule with add_border.

    Or:

    Select a schedule.

  3. Enter the name of the schedule.
  4. Select the device using the Facilities field.
  5. Select a Task template for which the schedule is valid.
  6. Enter name of the task.
  7. Enter Description of the preventive task.
  8. Select Resolving group and Priority.

    Duration and Required Downtime are displayed for information purposes and can only be edited in the task template.

  9. Select the execution type for the schedule in the Trigger drop-down list:
  10. To select a time zone, click timezone and choose Time Zone from the drop-down list.
  11. Select All and Frequency.

    The All and Frequency fields are used to set how often a preventive task is created.

  12. Select Initial Due Date.

    The due date specifies when the preventive task is to be created with the schedule for the first time.

  13. Select the Execution Period and Execution Period Unit.

    The execution period specifies the period before the initial due date in which the preventive task can be started.

  14. Create a schedule with Save.

The schedule is displayed in the Maintenance > Schedules menu and the first preventive task is created. As soon as the preventive task is resolved, the next preventive task is created with the set schedule.
