Each time the configuration data of a service is saved, the date and time are stored in the history. The configuration data of the various storage times can be compared with each other.
Configuration data can be compared during processing or independently of it.
Prerequisite
Transport Management Administrator or Stock Management Administrator role
Procedure
Open the Master Data Management > System Management menu.
In the desired version, select the service whose configuration data is to be compared.
The configuration data of the service is displayed in the editing area.
Click Compare in the editing area.
The current configuration data of the selected service is displayed on the right-hand side of the Compare History dialog window. The time of the last save is entered in the Active Version field. On the left-hand side, you can select and display the configuration data from a previous time when the configuration data was saved.
In the Select Version drop-down list, select the time with which the current configuration file is to be compared.
The configuration data of the selected time of saving is shown on the left. The changes between the original and current configuration data are highlighted in color:
Red rows indicate that something has been deleted.
Green rows indicate that something has been added.
Uncolored rows indicate that no changes have been made.
Press Close to close the comparison.
The configuration data of the various points in time is compared and each change can be traced.
