Introduction to the Process Quality module

The Process Quality module is used to monitor production process data in real time.
Various measured values and process data (e.g. pressure over time, force over distance) can be visualized and compared with one another.

This transparency enables deviations to be detected at an early stage, causes to be analyzed and measures to be initiated quickly.

Main Function

• Visualization of measured values of a production process in a process curve
• Display of process data (metadata) in tabular form
• Display of the quality results in a colored status bar
• Visual comparison of data from multiple processes of a device
• Export process data for external analysis
• Automatically detecting and displaying anomalous processes and data quality issues

Anomaly detection is available if the Process Intelligence add-on has been activated. The add-on contains AI functions that can be used with the Process Intelligence (PQM) role.

Roles and permissions

All modules of the Nexeed Industrial Application System are based on permissions. Depending on the permissions, different functions are available in a module.
To enable functions, the user is assigned a role based on the desired permission. Permissions are managed in the Nexeed Multitenant Access Control module.

The standard configuration of the module includes the following roles:

• Process Quality User
• Process Quality Expert
• Process Quality Operator
• Process Quality Machine Data Sender
• Process Intelligence (PQM)
