Filter part information

Part information can be filtered in the Nexeed Rework Control module. To do this, you can filter by one or more identifiers. Identifiers can either be entered in the text field Part ID or WT ID, imported via or read in via a barcode scanner.

1. Open Rework Control > Search & Act.
2. Filter by identifiers of part information:

   To filter for an individual identifier, enter the identifier in full in the Part or WT ID text field or read it in using a barcode scanner.

   Or:

   • To filter for multiple identifiers at the same time, enter multiple identifiers separated by semicolons and spaces, or click in the Part or WT ID text field.

     The Manage Identifiers dialog window appears.

   

   • Click .

     To filter multiple identifiers quickly, import a corresponding identification list. This must be in *.txt format.
     An identifier must be entered in the file for each line.

   • To import the identifier list, select the required file in the file system.

     To exclude one or more identifiers from the import, click in the Delete column of the identifier list.

   • Click Apply.

     The imported identifiers appear in the Part or WT ID text field.

3. To filter part information, click Search.

The missing part information area shows the part information for the filtered identifier or the filtered identifiers.

• To process the part information further, continue with Evaluate and edit part information.
• To adjust the settings of the barcode scanner or other devices, under the Hardware Settings menu item, open the tab that corresponds to the model of the HAL component used (barcode scanner/RFID) General, Serial or Balluff.
• To export the identifiers of the filtered parts, continue with Export Identifier.
