Arranging panels and windows

Panels and windows can be repositioned and displayed or hidden on the user interface.

Placing a panel

  1. Open the menu with the layout you want to adjust.
  2. Right-click on any window title to open the context menu and select Edit panel layout.
  3. Click in the window title of the panel and hold down the mouse button and move the panel to the area in which you want to place it.

    When you move the panel, a square appears on the four sides of the main screen and a five-square crosshair appears in the area where the panel is located. As you move the mouse over one of the squares, the area on the user interface where the panel will be located is highlighted in blue.

  4. Move the mouse pointer to the desired square and release the mouse button.

    The panel is in the desired area.

  5. If necessary, reposition additional panels.
  6. Right-click on any window title to open the context menu and disable Edit panel layout.

The panels of the menu are in the desired area.

Placing a window

  1. Open the menu with the layout you want to adjust.
  2. Right-click on any window title to open the context menu and select Edit panel layout.
  3. To move a window to another panel, click the window title and hold down the mouse button and move the window to the panel in which you want to place it.

    When you move the window, a square appears on each of the four sides of the user interface and a five-square crosshair appears in the area where the window is located. As you move the mouse over one of the squares, the area on the user interface where the panel will be located is highlighted in blue.

  4. Move the mouse pointer to the square in the center of the crosshair and release the mouse button.

    Or:

    To display a window in a separate panel, move the mouse pointer to the desired square, but not to the square in the center of the crosshair.

  5. Right-click on any window title to open the context menu and disable Edit panel layout.

The window is located in the desired panel.

Closing a panel

Panels can be displayed and hidden using the context menu of the window title (Hide) as well as using the toolbar.

  1. Open the menu with the layout you want to adjust.
  2. To hide a panel, click .

The window title of a closed panel appears on the right side of the main screen.

If you want the panel to reappear, click the panel name on the right side of the main screen.

Hiding and displaying windows

Windows can be hidden and displayed using the context menu of the window title (Auto-Hide) as well as using the toolbar.

  1. Open the menu with the layout you want to adjust.
  2. Click .

    The name of the window appears at the edge of the main screen.

  3. If the panel is to be displayed again, move the mouse over the panel name.

The window will continue to appear until the mouse is clicked in another area.

If you want to stop automatic hide and display, click again.
