Manage or Create a New Measuring Point for a Device Type

1. In the menu, select Master data management > Equipment.
2. In the Device types tab, click a device type.

   The device type is selected.

3. Click the Measuring points tab of the device type.

   The list of measuring points appears in the right-hand pane.

   

4. Create measuring point, link to device type and edit, unlink.
   • Click to create a new measuring point: Create measuring point for a device type
   • Click to edit a measuring point: Edit Measuring Point of a Device Type
   • Click Show ID to display the unique identifiers of the measuring points in the list.
   • Click Show unknown measuring point to display one or more incompletely created measuring points.
   • Click Link/Unlink to link one or more existing measuring points to the selected device type or to unlink one or more existing links:

     Unlink Measuring Points from a Device Type

The measuring point is created and either linked to the device type or the link to a device type is removed.
