Place positions on the positioning map of the type

In the hierarchy, you can attach or release components to the positions of the tool or component in a positioning map. For this purpose, positions must be created in the type and a positioning map must be added. In addition, the positions must be placed on the positioning map.

Prerequisite

• Tool Management Expert or Tool Management Admin role
• A type has been created.

Procedure

1. Call up the Tool management > Tool control > Types tab.
2. Select type.
3. In the detail view, open the Positions tab.
4. Open Positioning image with .

   

   Type positions are displayed.

5. Place positions on the positioning map using drag-and-drop.

   

6. Confirm the location of the positions with Confirm.

The positions are placed on the positioning map. Tools or components of this type can be attached and detached in the hierarchy in the positioning map.
