Tools can be set up or removed in/from devices. Devices can be created on the Master data management > Facilities tab. All tools that have been set up are displayed on the Tool management > Tool information > Setup overview tab.
Prerequisite
Tool Management User or Tool Management Expert or Tool Management Admin role
Procedure
Or for removal:
Call up the Tool management > Tool information > Setup overview tab.
Or:
Select Remove tool.
Example: Set up tool
When removing tools, the Facilities field is omitted.
If a restriction is active for the selected tool, a facility or a device is preselected in the Facilities field.

Or:
Remove tool with Remove from the device.
The tool is displayed or no longer displayed on the Tool management > Tool information > Setup overview tab.
