The module Nexeed Maintenance Management is used to create and manage corrective and preventive maintenance tasks (hereinafter referred to as "task") for machines (hereinafter referred to as "device") and tools. The Nexeed Maintenance Management module supports the user in processing and appraising tasks. A corrective task can be appraised and assigned to a user of a resolving group for processing. A corrective task consists of the general data, a description, the appraisal and the files. Problem and solution descriptions can also be added to the corrective task.
A preventive task consists of the general data, a description and the work instructions. Work instructions for preventive tasks can be created in the task templates. Schedules can be created for task templates so that preventive tasks can be created automatically at the next desired time.
Work done can be added to a corrective or preventive task.

Nexeed Master Data Management data is used in machine maintenance.

Appraise corrective tasks
Tasks that describe a fault or failure
Appraise preventive tasks
Tasks that describe maintenance or servicing
Preventive tasks can only be created based on a task template.
Roles and permissions
All modules of the Nexeed Industrial Application System are based on permissions. Depending on the permissions, different functions are available in a module.
To enable functions, the user is assigned a role based on the desired permission. Permissions are managed in the Nexeed Multitenant Access Control module.
The standard configuration of the module includes the following roles:

Maintenance Production Planner
Maintenance Production
Maintenance Technician Leader
Maintenance Technician
Groups
In order for the Nexeed Maintenance Management module to function properly, Groups of any name must be created in the Nexeed Multitenant Access Control module and assigned predefined tags.
The Maintenance Management tag must be set and, depending on the use of the group, other module names can be set as tags:
