Introduction to the Rework Control module

The module Nexeed Rework Control is used to identify missing parts by means of a part search and to specify how they are to be processed further. Missing parts can be left in the line or removed from it. Missing parts can either be disposed of completely or individual components can be separated and fed back into the line.

Main Function

All functions of the Nexeed Rework Control module are accessed via the following menus:

Search & Act

• Filter part information.
• Export Identifier.
• Process Part:
• Evaluate and edit part information.
• Define further processing of the part: Define customer-specific action.
• Define further processing of the part: Define parts handling.
• Define further processing of the part: Define dependent actions.
• Define further processing of the part: Code part.

Settings > Hardware Settings and Settings > Client Settings

Hardware settings:

• Hardware Settings Menu Item, General Tab
• Hardware Settings Menu Item, Serial Tab
• Hardware Settings Menu Item, Balluff tab

Client settings:

Roles and permissions

All modules of the Nexeed Industrial Application System are based on permissions. Depending on the permissions, different functions are available in a module.
To enable functions, the user is assigned a role based on the desired permission. Permissions are managed in the Nexeed Multitenant Access Control module.
